INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
AIR INFLATION
After unfolding the sleeping pad, we recommend using a dedicated air pump to inflate it rather than blowing directly by mouth. This will protect the performance and longevity of the sleeping pad. After inflation, the internal pressure can change due to ambient temperature fluctuations. Therefore, adjust the air pressure as needed by adjusting the inflation valve to release or refill air. This will ensure the sleeping pad remains optimally inflated and does not become overstretched or too soft.
DEFLATE
When opening the valve, hold the valve base (at the connection to the sleeping pad) with one hand and pull the valve slowly and evenly with the other hand to avoid damage from over-tightening. After the first layer is opened, grasp the flap of the valve and gently pull it outward until the valve is completely folded. The valve should remain open during the deflation process. Wait until all the air has escaped before folding or rolling the sleeping pad. After packing, please ensure the valve is completely closed.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Clean your sleeping pad regularly, ensuring the inflation valve is securely closed to prevent water or moisture from entering. Never wash the pad with water! Instead, use a cloth moistened with clean water and wrung out well to gently wipe the surface. After cleaning, allow the sleeping pad to dry completely in a shady place before rolling it up and storing it to prevent moisture damage.
- Children should not use the sleeping pad alone to avoid the risk of suffocation! The sleeping pad is flammable; keep it away from fire sources and hot objects!
- Avoid over-inflation to prevent the sleeping pad from bursting or exploding!
- Be careful when using on unstable terrain such as hills or heights!
- Do not use the sleeping mat near bodies of water to avoid the risk of accidentally falling in!
- Avoid use at high temperatures!
- Avoid improper use, such as jumping or excessive pressure, to prevent damage to the sleeping mat!

FAQ
What is the R-value?
The R-value is a measure of thermal resistance. It indicates the efficiency of insulation by measuring its resistance to heat transfer. The higher the value, the slower the heat transfer through the insulation.
With Qunature sleeping mats, higher R-values help sleepers retain the heat generated by their bodies, resulting in the pleasant and sometimes elusive condition known as warmth!
How long does it take to inflate the sleeping pad?
Approximately 17–20 pumps with the inflation bag, which takes about two minutes. With an electric air pump ( QUNATURE AIR PUMP ), the mat is fully inflated in about one minute.
Can the sleeping mat be used in winter?
Yes, of course! This sleeping pad has an R-value of 5.0 and features a double heat-reflective aluminum layer for excellent insulation during the cold winter months.
Does the sleeping mat make noise when moving?
Due to the double aluminum layer inside, there may be a slight rustling noise when moving. However, this does not affect sleeping comfort.
What to do if your sleeping pad loses air in the wilderness?
Each of our sleeping mats comes with a self-adhesive repair kit that can quickly and easily repair minor damage.
